Recording over USB - Does it have loopback

I mostly play with the catalyst plugged in usb to the laptop so I can stream backing tracks into the amp. I play the backing track and guitar together and everything comes out of the speaker fine. The issue is when I have Audacity recording the USB from the catalyst it only passes the Guitar. I have a NUX mG30 that does this as well but they added a usb loopback setting that sends the music and guitar together back over the usb. Does the Catalyst have a usb loopback function

No it doesn’t. If you have access to the backing track in file format (wav, mp3, …) then you can simply import the audio file into any track in Audacity. If you don’t have access to a file for the streaming backup track that probably means you don’t have a license for it. Your streaming service allows you to listen to it, not copy/record it and Line 6 doesn’t help you get around that..
