rd2rk Posted March 18 Share Posted March 18 If your GX has an Instrument Level Out, connect it to the Cat's RETURN. A quick look at the manual, it appears that the FX Loop SEND on the GX is Instrument Level. If you want to use the Cat's POST FX in addition to the GX FX, place the FX Loop Switch in the FX Loop position. If not, put that switch in the Power Amp In position. Note that this attenuates the signal (vs the FX Loop position) by (IIRC) 6db. You may want to disable the CAB SIM on the GX but try it both ways and use the one that sounds best TO YOU.
