HX One MIDI Thru issue

Introduction

I bought a HX One last month, and I'v been happy about its sound.

However, I found its MIDI Thru port not working last week, as long as I use it with my Strymon Deco.

I read some topics talking about  MIDI issue, and have tried all the diagnosis they showed, but it didn’t work in my situation.

So I need a help. I would appreciate any information.

※Btw, I'm not a native speaker of English, so I would be really sorry if my grammer is incorrect :(

Main

Here is my MIDI chain:

Hotone Ampero Control(MIDI commander)

HX One MIDI input

HX One MIDI output

Strymon DECO V2

All the firmwares are up to date.

HX is set to MIDI Thru mode.

Both MIDI cables are made by BOSS(not joking). One is just a MIDI-MIDI cable, while the other is MIDI-TRS cable.

The former one is in between Ampero and HX, and the latter one is in between HX and DECO.

I've tried once to operate DECO directly from Ampero, and it worked.

HX worked with Ampero, too.

So, here are my hypotheses:

① HX's Thru port is broken.

② MIDI-TRS cable doesn't work well with this combination.

Which is likely to correct? Any other opinions? I need your help.

 Thanks for reading.

Check "Settings View", Page 8:

2 MIDI Thru Off, On On
When On, MIDI OUT also acts as a MIDI THRU; that is, it passes through any MIDI messages
received at the MIDI IN jack or USB MIDI IN.
NOTE: Incoming MIDI Clock is always routed to MIDI OUT/THRU and USB MIDI OUT, regardless of
this MIDI THRU On/Off setting.
