This can improve readability, although it affects other applications too. Changing screen resolution is another possibility, but it may make the interface less sharp. You can explore typeface design at https://typetype.org/ for general inspiration. An independent font-size control within HX Edit would be a better long-term solution, especially for users who need larger text only in this application.
