Hi There,

i exported a setlist from helix rack to import it in helix native. I edited it there, exported it an (re-) imported into helix rack. Result: all input and output routings were overwritten to Multimode. How can i avoid this?

Hi,

You cannot avoid this - it is fairly obvious that because Helix Native is software, it doesn’t have the physical In/Out connections of the hardware units.

From page 19 of the Helix Native Pilot’s Guide:-

“Input & Output Block Settings
When Importing a Helix or HX Hardware-exported Preset into Helix Native - All Input and Output blocks currently set to physical Inputs and Outputs (other than “None”) will default to the “Host” setting within the plugin.
When Importing a Helix Native-exported Preset into Helix or HX Hardware - All Input and Output blocks currently set to “Host” will default to the “Multi” setting within the Helix hardware. Any Input block set to “None” will remain as set to “None” within the hardware.”

I would suggest that you read the Pilot’s Guide, which you can download as a pdf, by clicking on the “Question Mark” icon at the bottom left of the Helix Native plugin window, then select it from the menu

Hope this helps/makes sense.
