davehuber
Anyone experience a buzzing string sound when plugging into a mixing board? It's not the guitar as I have tried more than one. I am pretty new to using a modeler, so sorry if I sound stupid. I don't hear a problem with just playing through my headphones and the Pod Go Wireless. The problem only happens when I plug into my buddy's mixing board. It sounds like the strings are buzzing on the frets, kind of like I need to level the frets. Anyone have a comment on how to fix this problem?
ianc_oxon
Hi there, did you ever resolve the problem? I have a similar buzzing issue on my user presets, clean as crstal when connected to the computer via USB cable & using headphones. Remove the USB cable and I get buzzing, like a bad earth or guitar cable problem. Regards Ian_C
theElevators
try using balanced cables, same result? You can buy adapters to convert balanced 1/4" jacks to xlr, then connect with cables to the mixer.
Sqawk
Where is your master volume set? Does it sound like a high gain noise?
