knewman34
This one is driving me batty. I can’t get the backup dialog box to show up when I select backup. I have uninstalled, reinstalled, restarted and all the other yabayabas. The backup dialog box never shows up. I have to do a backup on a windows machine and then send it to my mac to save it. Any ideas as to what is happening?

Hi, I guess you hit one of the barriers of being an early adopter of the Mac OS 26 (Tahoe). Apple updates are known to break things that previously worked without issue. A new OS every year - same old story, try complaining to Apple, as HX Edit was released almost a year before Tahoe. From the HX Edit download page: HX Edit 3.82 (released December 3, 2024) includes the latest graphic updates. Please copy and paste or open this link in a browser of your choice to view the full 3.80 release notes. Compatible OS: Mac OS X, macOS Big Sur, macOS Catalina, macOS Monterey, macOS Sequoia, macOS Sonoma, macOS Ventura GET DOWNLOAD Hope this helps/makes sense. Arcanite
Hi! On macOS, try resetting the app’s preferences, granting it full disk access
