Nos402
I rarely use my Catalyst as I'm usually running my Helix direct but when I do use it I find my brain works better with the Helix methodology of direct amp models. I know when I want to reach for a Vox AC30 or a Bassman or a Plexi. Since Catalyst doesn't use that methodology I am not as "familiar" with the original amp models. Are there at least basic comparisons that can be made to help me hold them in my mind? I think "Chime" is "voxish" if I'm not mistaken. And Crunch is Marshallesque? What about the others? I've been using the moa in Manual mode for a weekly Beatles jam so am only now kind of getting to know it better.
