Stadium getting warm

Hi,

First time post here! Just bought a Stadium XL and I am blown away by it.

One of the things I observed is that it is getting warm on the top panel, left of the screen, where the buttons are located (volume etc.).

Is that normal and expected? I know that is the general area of the power source, but somehow I didn't expect the top to get warm.

I'm not aware of any reported overheating issue. Only you can tell how warm it is, but warmer than room temperature would not be abnormal. I wouldn't worry about it until and unless something fails or it becomes painful to the touch. In that case open a support ticket; it's under warranty.

UPDATE - I kept monitoring it and the top side gets a bit warm, specially on the left side (as stated in the first post). However, the underside, specially the left side, towards the back), gets noticeably warm after about 30 minutes of play, and pretty much stays like that (the whole underside seems warm, after a while, but that general area where the power source and DSP chips are gets the warmest. It is not painful to the touch, but pretty warm - like a laptop charger. Is that within specs? Anyone else experiencing that?

Perhaps it needs more ventilation, especially underneath. If it is sitting on a soft surface, such as a carpet that shows footprints, place a hard solid surface underneath it.

I have only used it on my desk!
