Issue with importing presets that were exported on Stadium. Coming back BLANK on MAC

Anyone having issues importing presets that were exported on your Stadium? I'm running MAC Sequoia 15.7.2...When I import a preset previously exported to MAC, the preset is completely BLANK. No effects, amps, etc. Nothing at all is present except the name of the preset.

 

Anyone else seen this?

After searching the forums. I found the issue. Much thanks to silvehead for your post. This new file system is a bit awkward:

I have only seen this for presets from the marketplace.  This is a known issue (they aren't supported).  I created things manually that I needed (viewing them side by side).

Thanks! The issue was I was saving the "alias" of a preset from a setlist. I didn't know the actual preset only resides in the USER PRESET directory.

Yes, that’s a big conceptual change from the way presets and Setlists are handled in Helix. The Helix Stadium online manual has a good section on this. Worth reading.

I actually filed a ticket saying that when exporting from a setlist it should export the associated PRESET and not the ALIAS, as I also was bit by this and I can't think of any reason I would ever want to export the alias.

 

They said no guarantee that would change, but I'm hoping they will realize that current system is dumb (IMO) and change it.
