Are speaker impedance curves (SIC) loaded by default with an amp when no cab block is inserted ?

 

What about when an Cab block is inserted with an IR ?

1) Are speaker impedance curves (SIC) loaded by default with an amp when its associated Cab block is linked (gold link icon) ?
-> Yes

2) Are SIC loaded by default with an amp when an IR Cab block is inserted afterwards ? If yes, which SIC (i.e., from which cab)?
-> Yes, the default cab.

3) What is the difference between a linked and unlinked IR Cab block (you can have both option) ?
-> My guess: with link icon = default SIC loaded, without link icon = no SIC ?

4) Are SIC loaded by default with an amp when no cab block is inserted afterwards (when using with a real power amp and cab)?
-> My guess: No ?

Has anyone figure that out yet by any chance? The documentation has no information on SIC (speaker impedance curves).

Thank you for chiming in about this subject. 

I noticed a difference between linked and unlinked cab blocks while comparing Line6 cabs to my favorite IRs.

I put the Line6 cab after the amp then a IRs after that muting one or the other.

The Line6 cab has the linked icon but the IR doesn't.

When I tried the IR after the amp with the linked icon it sounded different...

Nothing in the documentation about this?
