I can recreate the issue with my presets as well just by booting it up and then switching between specific presets I have. No sound coming from the unit and matrix mixer shows sound graph (the green leds that would usually show a signal) but they are all at the same half way level with no sound coming out and not input from the guitar. If I reboot, everything comes back and I get normal sound again and normal input readings. I then play for a little bit, and then swtich presets and it happens again over and over again. I am opening a support ticket as well but was wondering if anyone else has had issues with this one? It's a pretty bad bug and makes me nervous about playing this live right now. Yep, I had same issue. They told me to try the last updates and reinstall the all and the drivers for the windows. A hard reset for the unit itself as well. I did them all. Didn't worked for me. It seems that importing an old preset from the previous unit (Floor) there are some reading issues related to that old PV Panama amp. I had to quit that preset... rikkimadan
Hello! I’m experiencing what appears to be a preset-recall/DSP state issue on my Helix Stadium XL. I’m using Helix Stadium Edit on a Mac, and the problem is specifically related to switching between presets that use different signal-path configurations, particularly dual-amp presets. Problem My Solo preset is programmed correctly and sounds exactly as expected immediately after rebooting the Stadium XL. However, after switching away from the Solo preset and then returning to it, the preset can sound incorrect even though all of the parameters displayed in Helix Stadium Edit appear to be correct. The incorrect sound is particularly noticeable because it sounds as though the cabinet is not being applied, even though the cab block is visibly active and is not greyed out. Reproduction The following behavior is repeatable: 1. Reboot Stadium XL → Load Solo preset → Solo sounds correct. 2. Load a single-amp preset → Return to Solo → Solo loads correctly. 3. Load a dual-amp preset → Return to Solo → Solo sounds wrong. For example: Double Double (dual amp) → Solo (dual amp) = incorrect sound Whereas: Stadium Rock Gig (single amp) → Solo (dual amp) = correct sound I also initially noticed the same problem when going: Clean → Solo The Clean preset appears to produce the same problem, and further testing showed that another dual-amp preset such as Double Double can reproduce it. Important observations The Solo preset itself is saved correctly. Immediately after rebooting, Solo sounds correct. When Solo sounds wrong, the amp, cab and other parameters displayed in Stadium Edit appear correct. The cab block is not bypassed/greyed out. Changing cab parameters does not restore the expected Solo sound. The problem appears to correlate with switching from a dual-amp preset into another dual-amp preset. Switching from a single-amp preset into Solo appears to work correctly. Rebooting the Stadium XL reliably restores the correct Solo behavior initially. This makes me suspect that some DSP/routing state associated with the previous dual-amp preset is not being completely reinitialized when the next dual-amp preset is recalled. The fact that the preset parameters displayed in Stadium Edit remain correct while the actual sound is wrong makes me think this may not be a simple preset-saving issue. My Solo configuration The Solo preset uses a dual-amp setup: Brit Jujube Cali 2C+ Dual-amp/parallel routing Cabinet processing Additional effects I have previously also used parallel routing/blending and expression-controlled routing in these presets. Could you please advise whether this is a known issue with dual-amp preset-to-preset recall, or whether there is a recommended procedure for clearing/reinitializing the DSP state without rebooting the entire unit? I would also be happy to provide the affected presets, screenshots of the signal paths, Stadium Edit files, or a video demonstrating the exact reproduction sequence if that would help. Thank you, Hitesh
