t-ario Posted February 23 Share Posted February 23 I would like to suggest that the Helix Stadium Floor provide visual feedback immediately after pressing the power switch – for example, by having the LED rings around the footswitches light up right away. Why this feature would be useful: After pressing the power switch, I usually start working on other preparations without waiting for the first visual confirmation on the display, which appears only after about ten seconds. It has already happened several times that I “turned on” the Helix, but the main power switch (e.g., on the power strip or in the rack) was still off. When I was ready to start playing, the screen was dark, and I first had to figure out what went wrong. In live situations, this becomes even more important: On stage, you often power up your gear while handling other tasks — tuning, pedalboard setup, cable routing, in‑ear adjustments, or coordinating with the band. Immediate visual feedback would make it instantly clear that the Helix is actually booting, without having to walk back to the unit or wait for the display to activate.
