Helix Stadium Command Center "Hold" function is dependant on Press/release

Hello,

When setting a stomp function in Command Center, to say "actionA" on Press, and "actionB" on hold, holding the stomp triggers both events.

Let's say I set it to go Next snapshot on Press, and Previous Snapshot on "Hold". I start on Snapshot 2. If I hold the stomp (wanting to go to snapshot1), it will switch to snapshot3 as soon as I press it, and then go back to snapshot 2. I therefore end up on the same snapshot as before pressing and holding.

When setting the first action to "release" instead of press, it will go to snapshot1 when I hold it and then back to snapshot2 when I release it.

Is this by design and therefore not suitable to what I want to accomplish? What could it be used for as an example?

Thank you

Not sure if it's just terminology but to be clear..... "Previous Snapshot' means the Snapshot that was previously active. It does not mean Previous in terms of Snapshot number. In your case, starting on SS2 and wanting to go to SS1, Previous will not necessarily activate SS1; it will activate whichever SS you were last using. If 'starting on SS2' means SS2 was active when the preset was loaded, and you did not activate any other SS before performing your actions, then it is working properly. There is no 'Previous' SS established yet, so it returns you to the starting point of SS2.

Edit: Actually I’m not 100% sure about my understanding of ‘Previous’ stated above. I am currently investigating and will report back.

Edit: don’t have time to investigate further today. I may get back on this, but maybe not.

Check the Snapshot Reselect parameter in Global Settings -> Switches/Pedals. I may have confused this with my understanding of Previous. In any case open a support ticket for more detailed and accurate info.
