Assign metronome on/off to a foot switch?

To get to the metronome, hold down FS6 (MODE).  You can stop/stop the metronome from there (I think this is called "More Mode" or "Transport Mode"?).  You can save a metronome setting per preset but you have to go back to that FS6 "more mode page" to turn the metronome off/on.

I would like to be able to assign a foot switch to turn the metronome on and off within a patch  (from the STOMP A or STOMP B configuration).  That way, within a patch, I could  do all my sound switching and still be able to turn the metronome on/off.

Is there a way to assign the metronome on/off to a foots switch?  If not, how is the best way for me to request this feature?

I would find this setup useful at times in band rehearsal situations.

@dsndesy would you please tell me exactly where this is in "control center".  I've been all over looking and I can't see where to assign the metronome off/on to a button within a patch.

First of all, i said control center but i meant command center.

see this section in the doc:

https://manuals.line6.com/en/helix-stadium/live/command-center

You call it up, then tap the foot switch you want to assign, and find the correct function using the knobs.

i realize these aren’t clear instructions, but considering I’m not in front of my Stadium, it’s a start.

I had a go at doing this a while ago, but I couldn't find any category in the Command Center that provided a metronome command (I thought maybe Utility would, but that just has Save, Mute All and Stopwatch). So I just swap to More Mode and use FS3.

If anyone knows where to find a metronome command in Command Center, then I'd be glad to know too.
