Hoo boy...a question a lot of us are asking. Closest we have to an answer is "The end of this year" according to Eric Klein in a forum post here. That seems pretty unlikely to me now, though. He said it won't be in the next firmware update, and it's already October. Based on how long it's been since 1.3 came out (7 months), I think releasing 1.4 and 1.5 in the next 2-2.5 months is ambitious at best. I am encouraged that he said it is still coming, though.

Again...you can change what IR is loaded per snapshot. This is a screen shot from the online manual link I posted above. It was available on the OG Helix devices, also. Audio dropout was always minimal on the OG devices in my experience. I haven't tried on the stadium yet, so I can't tell you if it's noticeable or not.

Cab IR's are the notable exception to this rule (and I've submitted a feature request for similar behavior with proxy clones). Mentioned specifically in the online manual here. Jeff, have you tried setting the IR in a snapshot and saving your entire preset afterwards? If so, a bug report may be in order.

Ultimately, if you think you can get a sound that inspires you to play more with a Tonex pedal, go for it. The only right answer is the one that you think sounds best. I used a Tonex One with my HX Stomp before upgrading to the Stadium XL. Once I did (and Proxy came along), I didn't feel the need any more mostly because the XL was big enough, sounded/felt fine enough, and I didn't want to carry anything else around lol.

The only close to official word is on Sweetwater's website. "Estimated December 2026" is what it says now, but it's also said March, then June, then October at various points this year, I believe. I find that hard to believe. :-D

The only thing "special" about the port on the stadium is its ability to accept what's called an Ethercon connector (if what you say about using a Cat6 cable is correct). It's basically a latching protective cover that wraps around an ordinary ethernet cable. A regular ethernet cable will still work fine in an Ethercon port. Hate to make it worse for you, but Sweetwater is now saying expected in December. I'm pretty bummed about this, too. I've never owned any piece of gear as long as my JTV, and I can't use it anywhere near as much as I would like because of battery sourcing issues (you can't find an official battery any more, and I'd rather not risk frying the electronics with something from Amazon). Every pushed back date makes me a little bit more sad.

Ha...I searched first, and found...one thread that mentions it. Either the search function is broken or it's talked about way more outside this forum than it is here. It's become my standard practice now that anything I use the official feedback form for, I'll drop a link to the form here as a gentle reminder that Line 6 doesn't officially monitor this forum for Bug Reports or Feedback, and anybody that finds my idea useful can officially request it. I know it's been discussed by Eric in interviews as a "maybe" (and it sounds to me like a "probably" from some of the interviews I've seen), but I feel like the more requests for NAM support, the more likely Line 6 might be pushed to include/finish it. I already submitted a feedback form. Anyone else interested can do so here.

Ah...I assumed that clones had a static DSP requirement anyways like impulse responses (just obviously a much higher static requirement). Haven't done a deep dive into them yet, but I'd be interested to see if you can get yourself into a DSP situation where some clones are greyed out on the selection list like other amps/effects are when you try to select them.

Already submitted a feature request to Line 6 here, but wanted to post about it here in case anyone agrees and wants to request it as well. I love that they made Impulse Responses available to change with snapshots. It would be great if they would do the same for Proxy clones. Trying to cram all the effects for specific sounds along with clean and overdrive amp clones can get pretty DSP intensive sometimes. I just watched a Jason Sadites YouTube video where he was scrolling through a bunch of his proxy clones, and the audio drop out while "loading" the new clone didn't seem overly long to me. I'd be fine with that momentary switching silence to toggle proxy clones with a new snapshot.

Yeah, I had a similar issue (thread here). I noticed while sending pictures to support that this only seems to happen with block toggle switches. Any switch that's set to adjust parameters is unaffected.
