iPad volume control direct into usb Helix floor

Hi

 

I’ve discovered the Helix usb connection from my iPad

 

I can’t work out how to control the volume of the iPad when going through the Helix floor

The iPad volume is bypassed and seems to only be controlled by the main knob on the Helix

 

How do I control the iPad volume please?

 

Aim

 

To be able to adjust volume of backing tracks sent from the iPad 

 

Set up:

 

iPad lightening out via adapter (2 x usb + 1 lightening in)

usb cable in to Helix usb

Helix set up as a mixer, 4 channels (2 x guitars, 1 aux, 1 mic)

Helix outs set up as digital as I’m using L6 link from Helix to Soundscape Lt2m - Lt2

See the section of the Helix Owner’s Manual regarding USB Audio on page 73.

 

Your playback from the iPad and the Camera Connection Kit is via USB 1&2 through the Helix “Multi IN”, additional controls can be found on page 68, Global Settings In/Out - USB1&2 Destination, and USB1&2 Trim.
