Help with Dunlop DVP5

Hey guys! I got a Dunlop DVP5 (8) to use as my volume pedal. I plugged in a TRS cable from EXP3 into EXP. It's recognized but when moving the pedal forward I hit 100% volume about halfway. If I continue to move my toe forward the volume begins to cycle back down to 0. I want it to be a single 0-100 sweep from heel to toe. Any ideas what is wrong?

1. Open Dunlop, flip the internal switch to reverse foot/heel polarity.

2. Use TS, not TRS cable. (Or TRS Y splitter cable depending on your usage. Just make sure Dunlop side is TS.)

3. Invert Tip/Ring polairity on Helix.
