gtrnstuff
I don't see the answer in the support pages, so I'm asking here. Will HX Edit be compatible with Mac OS 27 Golden Gate? I'm using Helix with firmware 3.80.0 HX Edit 3.82 Mac OS 26.7.1 I'm in no hurry to update to OS 27, but the way these things go, eventually I'll probably have to. denitronik Posted yesterday at 11:19 AM Share Posted yesterday at 11:19 AM Yes! HX Edit 3.80 works with Golden Gate. I have my Stomp XL connected to my M1 mini running the latest Golden Gate OS and all is well!

Hi, I recently made the jump to a new Mac Mini M6 which arrived preloaded with Golden Gate, and no way to revert to any earlier versions. I was very happy to find that HX Edit worked just as it had previously. Same with Helix Native - just changed the computer in the Devices Authorisations on my Account. Works just fine. The big issue for me was the realisation, that after migrating all my old stuff to the new machine, I had to reinstall all my soft synth libraries and plug-ins (Arturia V Collection 9, UVI Synth Anthology and Orchestral Suite etc.) to run as Universal or Silicon apps. I suppose I was lucky in some respects that iLok was keeping track of most of the licenses, but it as been a total PITA. Oh, and the next big change that keeps being flagged by OS27, is that Rosetta will no longer work in the next system software update based on these Apple Silicon chips. I’m dreading having to go through all this again, as I guess some stuff older will not pass the OS28 test. Make the most of it while you can. Enjoy.
