SiCantwell
Does the MIDI out plug on my HD500 mean I can use my guitar as a MIDI controller? I tried plugging the HD's MIDI out into the MIDI in of my digital piano and playing the guitar, but no sound came from the piano. Is there a way to configure it? SiCantwell
I was playing a Fender Strat plugged into the Guitar In 1/4-inch plug. The Strat doesn't have a MIDI pickup.
Inerzia
No, pods can't do that
Rewolf48
The HD500 can act as a MIDI controller - for example doing Patch/Bank Changes on a Keyboard/Sound Module/VST Host, can send Continuous Controller data from the Expression Pedals and send Note On/Off from the Foot Switches. It doesn't do Guitar to MIDI conversion, not even with a JTV which theoretically could support it..
