carminemarotta
Hi Hope someone can give me some suggestions. I play just for my hobby, so I need to use headphone while playing. I connected my Hd500 to my Blackstar HT5 to use it for the effects. I read as much as possible on how to use and how to tweak it but the sound was horrible ‎Out of desperation I tried without headphone, with the amp at very low volume: it was incredible well sounding, I was really impressed. I know it is an amp problem but can I do something to make it sound so well with headphones? Thanks in advance ‎ Best regards,Carmine
radatats
so I don't know whether you are pluggin your headphones into the POD or the amp. You will have a crappy tone from the POD because you will be missing the amps power section and any cab/mic emulation. Plug into the Blackstar stereo speaker emulated output and you can apparently turn off the speaker for silent practice or recording. This should be as good as with the amp turned up. If you are already using the amp jack, unplug the POD and try just using the headphones in the amp alone and see how it sounds. If you can get that right then hook up the POD again and keep tweaking.
