hooternanny Posted July 7, 2014 Share Posted July 7, 2014 Hi All, I was playing the other night and all of a sudden my amp quit working. It lights up but but I get a barely audible sound out of the speakers. I play through a 4X12 slant so I tried the built in 12s first, no improvement. I tried a different guitar and cable to rule them out. The 6l6s and the 12AX7s glow. I run a short board so I disconnected it to make sure it wasn't causing the issue. napynap Posted July 9, 2014 Share Posted July 9, 2014 ...I play through a 4X12 slant... That 4X12 Slant cabinet you mention should be 8ohms to use the single 'A' Speaker OUT.
