FBV MKII: USB-Connection has to be (shortly) interrupted to function

Recommended Posts

If I start my pc (win 7, 64bit), the FBV-pedal is activated (diode).
If I open the device manager in windows, there are no problems indicated with the usb-connection between pc and pedal (and also no driver problems).
But nevertheless, the pedal does not work. If I open the FBV-control-center, you can read "No line 6 device connected".
I have installed the newest updates (FBV-Control Center, Spider-monkey-software).
If I then interrupt the usb-connection (short), it works all properly.
I tried several usb-ports; it is the same problem at all usb-ports.
Do you have an idea what to do? I do not want to interrupt the usb-connection everytime after windows has started...

I would not leave the pedal plugged in all the time.  Plug it in only when you plan on using it.  I assume this is for MIDI control of some device?  I know it is not the answer you are looking for, but makes the most sense.
