Chouca
Hi, I cannot get my UX2 to work without Gearbox or Podfarm with 2 x Line in inputs. Works fine with Gearbox or Podfarm (or recording SW), but I want to use UX2 as a pure soundcard without running the software. Is this possible or do I have to find a new soundcard??? Triryche
Yes, the UX should run as a soundcard without GB or PF running. How are you monitoring the UX?
Chouca
Keyboard to 2xLine In, Analog outputs to Amplifiera/Loudspeakers.
Triryche
That's a bit different. For Window 7 (should be similar in other versions) go to the Recording devices double or right-click the UX2 icon to get to the properties then on the Listen tab check the box Listen to this device. Unfortunately you will likely have too much latency to be usable. So for this setup you are better off launching POD Farm. I do this for my keys too. I have a blank dual tone patch with Tone A as Line1 panned hard left and Tone B as Line2 hard right. It works great, the only slightly annoying thing is every time I launch POD Farm Tone B resorts back to "same as Tone A" and I have to change it to Line2. Chouca
OK, that works but as you point out the latency makes it a non-working solution... Thanks for your prompt replies!
Triryche
No problem. FWIW, unless I fire up a different interface, I just leave POD Farm open with my blank piano patch for convenience.
