manuelagle
Hi I've just recently purchased an UX1, I have installed the latest software and Im trying to run it wiht the latest version, I'm using a laptop with 3 usb ports, just one makes a sound whn I plug it, but the instalation of the driver never begins, the other ports do not sound, but the device manager does recognize that I have plugged something named UX1, but it can't find a driver ... even when I have already downloaded and installed the drivers from line6 page... what can I do? I am about to sell this thing on ebay (I bought it today), it's frustrating, please help me.. :( :(... monkey is updated as well as pod 2.5 5.7... I connect the UX1 just when it says.. I have restarted my laptop, I have uninstalled this thing like 3 times, cleaned my registry.... my antivirus is outdated so it is not a problem... how can I make this thing work?... is there a way to find a driver that makes it recognizable... how can I contact support?... I can't call to the US... there is not a single email where I can ask... I have tried to make a ticket and the page does not let me... Reallly really awful experience with my first line 6 product :(
TheRealZap
have you rebooted? tried different usb cables? try unplugging the UX and install the driver package separately from here: http://line6.com/software/ make sure you are not using a usb hub as well... typically the back ports on your computer work better. Dmadness
hi, I just went through this same process. when you are prompted to install the device make sure you look through the drop menu and install the drivers for ux1 etc. its there and is not on by defult ( seems kinda odd but.. ) it works fine now. just make sure you check through all the menus with the + and - drop down menus.. you must manually select the driver. works like a charm now .
