Maximum safe volume?

What's the maximum safe volume of the 75W Spider Jam? I mean, I'd like to know at what level of volume can I go without putting the amp in risk.

Clean Setting

What is the cleanest setting for the Jam. I am using the Amplitube3 program and a StealthPlug and I want to send it to the amp without coloring the sound with the amp. I can select "clean" on the amp models but what sound in the style bank should I select?

When i go through the settings I found songs, 60's, brown sugar, for example.How do I get the amp to play the song? Oh yeah I just got the amp, read the booklet, but cant't figure this out

Spider Jam SD Card problems

I want to transfer the songs I made onto the SD card and then onto my computer, but it doesn't give me the option to do so. When I put the SD card in, it says SD card inserted and then at the bottom "write protection off" but I've tried it both ways with the switch up and down and I still get the problem. I've tried this with two SD cards and it says the same. But when I hit the save button, it does not give me an option to save onto sd card, it only says "save recording" "save guitar tone" "erase guitar tone" "erase demo" and "firmware". How can I get my recordings onto my computer? I dont know why when I put the SD card into the amp, it says that its inserted but thats it, i've tried everything on the amp, it doesn't give me any option to save on the sd card. Help????

My Line 6 Spider Jam is not recognizing SD Cards?

I purchased and formatted a 2GB SD Card and inserted into my Line 6 Spider Jam Amp but neither the SD icon in the song menu nor Format SD Card is showing under the save menu? I am therefore unable to transfer any recordings to my PC or update the amps Firmware to 2.09, I also inserted an unformatted SD Card into the amp and am not able to format it due to the missing menu item, the display does show SD Card In when I insert it and SD Card out when I remove it. Anyone else experience this problem and / or have any suggestiones it would be greatly appreciated.

spider Jam problem with SD card

Hi guys,

Recently I got a spider jam. It seems that the Amp has some problem with my SD cards!

I checked and format SD cards in FAT16.

Although the Amp can detect the SD card, but when I want to brows or transfer data from/to SD card, suddenly the AMP get into something like a restarting or something like that (suddenly the SPIDER JAM intro. appears in the display; same as when the AMP got turned on!), so I can't use the Amp data transfering by SD Card feature.

Does anybody know something about this problem?

Spider Jam set list changing and FBV short board MK II

trying to set up my set list with a spider jam and a FBV Shortboard MKII not quite getting to this.

Doesnt the board or the Spider Jam open up in youre computer like the POD hd 500?

How do I move things around basically.

Could anyone help me with how to update my firmware? I have a spider jam line 6 and the lates firmware version I have is like a 1.04. Id like to pull songs off my amp via sd card. Thanks.

Can I hookup SpiderJam into a UX2 interface...... via the RCA jacks?

Wondering if its advisable to hookup my SpiderJam into my UX2 interface via the RCA jacks on the back.

I want to be able to hear my guitar directly from the amp, and not through the UX2 - connected to my computer (DAW software) and out of my speakers.....due to latency

Envision...... a RCA Y adpater..... to a 1/4 instrurment cabel, to the UX2 input

Mainly I just don't want to blow up either the SpiderJam or the UX2 due to bad impedence, I guess.

The spider jam does not have chanells that you set so can the FBV change tones? The manual indicates it works

with some spider amps in this way. So if you have a spieder jam and an FBV shortbork mkII can you answer this?

Spider jam short comming in design is it has no pause or rewind button on the amp, can this be done from the FBV controler?
