Programming an FBV Shortboard via Line 6 FBV Control Software

Hi - I am sure this has been asked and answered a million times and I apologize if this is a simple issue but I need to some quick help.

I have a Line 6 Spider Valve MK II and am using Spider Valve MKII edit software to edit tones. I have FBV Cotrol for the floorboard.

I would like to assign specific tones to specific buttons so I can quickly switch back and forth. Is there a quick way to do this?

Wah / Vol Control not responding?

So bit of a newb but - bought a second hand FBV controller the other day - all working as it should but the wah / vol pedal doesn't respond - ie it does switch from wah to vol and back but there's no response when i move the pedal.

The bloke I bought it from [in Austria, I'm in Oz] says it works fine and he's tested it etc before he sent it over. He says:

"The problem is definitely within your amp settings. (Amp / Wah configuration) "

I'm using a Flextone III and've restored factory settings so not sure why this would be the case. As I said I'm a Line 6 newb so a bit lost but hoping to learn pretty fast, appreciate any advice!

How do I add separate floor effect pedals to my FBV Shortboard? I see an output on the board but not sure how to hook it all back to my amp

Hi to everyone,

I've got a Flextone II amp, and a Floorboard pedal, old model, and it's giving me some problems. Sometimes it erases all the sounds I've saved in it, simply turning the amp down! I cannot say precisely when it happens, (or if it happens because I do something) but if I carry the amp in the car, or if I don't play it for some days, I simply lose all my sounds..

I tried to do a factory reset, and it seemed to resolve the problem, but in past two days it happened three times..

Please can you guys help me?

What is the communication protocol between FBV4 and PodXT?

I'm planning to use my old fbv4 pedal to make a MIDI controller. I have 2 options. Either I need to throw the present board on it and replace it something like arduino which I will only need the buttons and case

Maybe it is already sending midi messages. I can re-map them to suit with other midi devices (using arduino).

If it is midi, can someone explain me the conversion between JR45 and Midi plugs?

I'm about to buy the Line 6 Toneport POD HD KB37 and I'll need a floorboard to use at Live gigs with the effects of my POD on PC...
So i've been searching for pedals and I've found the FBV line and I've some question about it:

1 - the FBV Express MK II only support 4 differents FX's? if I'm live and needin more FX i've to map the controls again? can I put effect of non Line 6 products (loop, Gearbox, GTR, etc)?
2 - the FBV Shortboard MK II support a lot more, but it's more expensive too and I can't afford it (because the KB37). So, there's another options with more bank space for effects of POD Farm?
3 - What about the Flextone II? Is it work with POD Farm and KB37? It's a old floorboard and I only find used, but it's cheap and with 9 bank space with 4 channels each.

I'm seeing around a lot of people talking about the incopability of some line 6 produts (only works with another Line6), so I'm trying tom be sure that everything will be working fine.

that's the first doubts about the floorboard, but I've another questions:

1 - I wanna play live with a PC + KB37 + Floorboard... so let me see if I've got it:

I connect the PC to the KB37 and the Keyboard to the Compatible Floorboard. I connect the Guitar to the KB p10 IN and the KB sends the sound to the floorboard, who take my preset saved on computer, process the effect and send back to the KB, who is connected with the AMP.
is that how it works? I'll only need this?

I have an FBV express pedal which has recntly stopped switching to the "A" channel. All other functions of the pedal work fine. Can I purchase replacement parts for this pedal?
