Since many smartphone and tablet manufacturers support the Android operating system and have different connectors, it is unfortunately very difficult to develop and support products for these various hardware configurations. Apple devices share a standard, 30-pin dock connector which is why we’re able to create a single hardware solution for these devices.

Mobile Keys 49 doesn't work with iPod Touch 4G :(

I recently bought a Line 6 Mobile Keys 49 to use with my Mac, iPad 2 and iPod Touch 4G. The Mobile Keys 49 works great with both my Mac and iPad 2. However, it doesn't seem to work with my iPod Touch 4G. I used the included iPod/iPhone/iPad connection cable but it just doesn't want to work with my iPod Touch 4G. When I open MidiMemo while my iPod Touch is connected it tells me it requires MIDI interface to work but the strange thing is my iPod Touch is connected. This is strange considering my iPod Touch 4G works great with the Akai SynthStation 25 but not with the Line 6 Mobile Keys 49 and yet on the package it says that the iPod Touch 3G and 4G is supported with the MobileKeys. What should I do?

Please advise
