I'm Line 6 UX1 and UX2 user. I am looking to buy HD Pro, and with your answer I think I made my mind.

Hi Silverhead,

will HD Pro work as audio interface, then? I mean - if it will be configured as asio i/o, when I will play recorded tracks, will this go through HD Pro or you still need to have separate audio interface?

I did what you have suggested and... I still have same issues. Maybe the cracks are just a little bit less frequent than they used to be. But they are still there.

Also GearBox has the same issue with some of my presents - whenever I try to select them I got an error message (you can see them attached to my first post). I've heard somewhere that GearBox won't properly work under 64bit system, so maybe that's the reason.

I still have my old computer, so I won't install Windows 7 32 bit on this machine as of now. For recordings I'll use old PC, with Vista 32bit, where sound was working perfect. I will try to do other tweaks and so on, but looks like for time being I am just doomed to use two PCs mutually.

Anyway - if you will have any other clues, please, let me know. As well, as if you will know any plans for full support to 64bit systems. I'm planning to buy Pod X3 Pro to my home studio, but I think I'll wait with it until it will work smoothly under Win7 64 bit or until I eventually downgrade to 32 bit one.

Anyway, I am really thinking about downgrading to Windows 7 32... at least until L6 stuff will smoothly work under 64 bit system.

I agree with you - this is more Windows issue than L6, but anyway - I can't properly use the tool and software...

Hi All,

I have recently bought new computer with preinstalled Windows 7 64 bit. I have installed my UX 2, updated all drivers to latest version, installed latest GearBox and POD Studio 1.

I have nasty cracks in my speakers / headphones when I listen to any music. It cracks even when Windows is playing native sounds when you change folders and so on.

Also, sometimes when I use GearBox I receive an error message - "DSP failed to load model"... (I have activated all my plug-ins). In POD Studio 1 cracks and noises are absolutely overwhelming.

I don't think I need t oadd that any recordings are absolutely impossible in such conditions.

I am not sure what should I do to fix this issue... and if there is any fix. I'd appreciate any hints which would help me to avoid going back to my old machine or buying Vista 32 bit...
