It's ok, I've worked out a work around so people can use any MIDI Footswitch to control parameters in Pod Farm 2. It would only work if you're using a KB37 since you need already existing MIDI controls like the knobs and soft buttons.

First make sure that the MIDI preferences controller mappings are not set to Pod Farm 2 (i.e. it's set to something else like ableton), then select "MIDI learn" on the desired control (toggle distortion pedal on/off for example). Take note of the MIDI CC that Pod Farm has used for that task. Then go back to the MIDI preferences and set the controller mapping to Pod Farm 2 and change the footswitch MIDI CC to that of the desired task. The footswtich should now control that task.

Hi Perry, thanks for your reply.

It is a Boss FS-6 that I have. It works with gearbox and Ableton Live as a footswitch. The thing is, the preset MIDI CCs on Pod Farm 2 work with the pedal, for instance, there is a tuner CC already set to say CC 7, and when i set footswitch 1 to CC 7 the pedel toggles to tuner on and off. So it clearly knows what the FS-6 is doing and allows it to work. On this evidence, if I could simply create a MIDI CC to add to the list and select what CC channel it is assigned to along with its function (eg toggle a delay pedal on/off) the pedal would work with it. How can I just create a MIDI CC without using MIDI learn to send the data from the pedal?

Thanks

Alex

In POD Farm 2 there are a few MIDI CC's already set as a default, however, I want to create some more so that I can choose exactly what my footswitch does. I tried using MIDI learn but had no luck. And obviously it had a different serial number, all the software works fine with it. However, with the KB37 the package of POD farm comes with a free upgrade to FX junkie and I can't seem to get it to work. Do I need to put in a serial number or something?

Thanks

Alex

Pitch bend wheel broken (constantly tuned down) on KB37

Hi,

So I got a replacement KB37 about a month ago after my other one had faults. I wasn't particularly pleased that after a month of having this one, i fire up ableton live to practise and the song I'm playing is completely out of tune with the actual version. Immediately I can see that it must be a problem with the pitch bend wheel. To verify I went in to Reason, where you can see the postion of the wheel on the screen, and it's on -4,144 when the wheel on the KB37 is centred. When I push the wheel up to the maximum, the note is now in tune again. I'd like to know if this is a software setting or hardware problem, if it is the latter, the time wasting process of a repair will be necessary...

Many Thanks In Advance,

Alex

I don't know if this has been asked before but here we go...

POD Farm gives you such controls as wah and distortion pedals. What I want to do is control the wah with a exprssion pedal and control the distortion On/Off with a foot switch. Is this possible? I use two guitars at the same time via the two line inputs (1 and 2). One day line input 2 decided to break. No idea why but it just gives loadsa feedback when i try to use it. You can still hear the guitar in the background very faintly but the feedback is more predominant. Also when i touch metal parts of the instrument im using ie. the guitar strings or machine heads or the microphone casing on a microphone the feedback worsens. It seems like its damaged but i don't know how it could have happened. Any solutions to the problem would be appreciated.
