Or am I just required to buy the full version? Ideally I would use the UX1 as a dongle in hopes of using PodFarm with both computers. Thank you.

I used to have Pod Farm working with my Pod X3 that I ended up selling to a friend. Now I am missing Pod Farm and trying to get it to launch as a plugin on Logic 9 with Snow Leopard.

Monkey and License Manager are both saying that both computers I've tried this on (MacBook Pro and MacPro) as is the UX1 device, but I am unable to get it working with PodFarm.

Stand Alone mode is working fine.

I would love to get this working as an easy way to start working on demos. Thank you.

Hopfully plugging in to real power will help keep the problem from happening again. Thanks a lot!

I don't have access to a guitar right now but tomorrow I will check it out. With just a cable it didn't seem to have the same high pitched squeal. So hopefully this will be the end to my problem. Thank you so much!

X3 Bean Input/Feedback Problem

Today I hooked up my X3 that has served me well for almost a year and had a strange feedback like hum whenever the guitar was plugged in. First I made sure the noise gate was on and turned all the way up. It turned the volume of the noise down but it was definitely still there.

Then I tried using different cables and guitars. I changed the cable from the guitar into the pod and the cable from the pod to my recording interface. The noise was still there. It is even there when I am playing and it is just as loud, unlike any feedback I have ever encountered before. I listened through headphones to confirm that the problem was indeed the input and not my output or my digi rig.

I really want to solve this problem. Tomorrow I am going to try going Guitar>DI Box>XLR in>Pod but I would rather avoid adding extra components in my signal chain. To make it worse my 1 year warranty ends on February 27 and I am on tour with my band past that date. Not having the pod working is really hindering our abilities to demo our new record.

I am also supposed to be recording a few bands right when I get home and I'd much rather use my pod than actually putting a mic on a cab.

Please help me figure this out so I'm not out in the cold on this situation.
