This almost made it too low mids for me ... I had to adjust cab low cut a bit which is my favorite quick fix for eq these days since its already there and I dont want to add too much strain on memory limits.

I like taking thin leads and doubling it up ..nudging .. and panning a riff from one side to another like Brian May does in studio ... one take for certain passages thickened a bit by doubling to make other phrases stand out ... but Im sure you get the idea =)

Dont remember which wah patch I used but I added phase to front and flange to end and tube compressor ..to add a bit of color to it =)

The back ground muted pedaling riff was my own patch.

I plan to enter Mayonesse contest this weekend using some of your tones ... wish me luck ...I used yours as a base and tweaked them to my speaker setup.

I would like to sell my Spider Valve MKII and Matching 4x12 cabb and MKII foot controller and PODHD and in its place get a HD500 DT25 4x12 cab setup but I for now I love the HD Bean with the MKII controller.

Ive owned both and prefer the HD series.

My favorite new technology is the ability to edit the cab and tube response of amp. You can filter out the lower end flab of the cab ... make it sustain forever ... add extra punch etc..and with the amp parameters you can adjust sag .. the modeled cranking of volume reaction to to the tubes ..etc. etc..

Also even if you don't have dual amps running you can still blend sounds via the flexibility of putting fx anywhere in the chain so you can have one effect mixed to Channel A and the other only on Channel B ..

In short .. its a great change up I don't think you will be disappointed though it may be a challenge at first to have to replicate all your old tones since they will not transfer to the HD series.

This may seem overly obvious but just in case the very simple has been overlooked I know that I sometimes forget that if I am too close to a pc or laptop and my pickups are facing it one can get all manner of weird interference anomalies when recording ... so just a reminder to put distance between you and the pc or just turn to the side or face away from it.
