Hey Bobbo, I took out some of your patches for a spin on stage last night and they were fantastic. CL_Prph-Cln and CL_SpnkCln sounded awesome for this slow moody/doomy song we were playing that was all about dynamics. Perfect response from that AC-30 and awesome power from the Double Verb. Also tried out the AC/DC patch, had slightly too much crunch for older AC/DC tunes but nevertheless great.

I recently showed off some of your tones to someone who is really into tube amps (heavily modded his own Bassman). He thought you totally nailed the Mk4 and MkIIc tones, they sounded just like the real thing.

My favorite tone of yours right now has to be CL_Prph-Cln, that AC-30 just sings. Sounds amazing with my DiMarzio D-Sonic.

I've seen similar behavior with any time-dependent parameter as a result of editing the tone in HD Edit on my computer as opposed to directly on the unit. Despite saving a tone with the same timing/feedback on either channel, and testing it to make sure it was good, after switching away and switching back to the tone it would be all out of whack. This is not an issue if you edit the tone right on the Pod without being connected via USB. Just go in and tweak the relevant parameters (even if they appear the same, just change them to something else and back), save the tone, switch away and then switch back to it. Please try doing that and report back.

Same here really. I wish we could have more control over the signal chain that delivers the mic signal to the vocoder.

Where in the signal chain do you have the flanger? As you can see in this video, Alex has his flanger (as part of an Axe FX II setup) in a "post amp" position, so you'll need to set up your signal chain in a similar fashion to get the same swoop in the flanger.

Yep, I run a Phonic Powerpod 820 into two Phonic S710s. Full stereo 8 channel powered mixer setup, sounds great. A little thin on the super low end, but for just home use or as stage monitors it's perfect. $300 new from GC.

Grab a pair of Kustom active speakers, 10" or 12", or get a small PA package like the Phonic 820/S710 or 820/S712 depending on your budget (this is one of the few stereo PA packages, most are actually mono). FRFR is the way to go for home setups.
