I just got my DT50 212. I noticed the the noise issue. #3 is the louder. When nothing is connected to the amp the noise is higher. When the HD500 is connected the noise is reduced. I've updated the firmware and the noise was reduced a little more. it sill there but is better now (3 is still the noiser). At very low gain (practically listen the string from my electric guitar) the noise kind of bother me, but i just play at that volumne when my little one are sleeping. With a no so low volumne, the noise is ok, even for quiet riffs is ok. Using my HD500, some of the effects cut any remain noise. The only thing that having crazy is when I change a present from high to low gain in my pod it makes me jump from my stool (that happened also with my normal amps, but this is worst). Overall, I'm happy with the quality and sound and the noise doesn't bother me too much to don't recommend it (I'm not so picky)

So summary: I think I reduced some noise with the update of the firmware and with pod in low gain effects (the high gain covers the noise, so is not a problem ).

I'm not a tube expert, it's just my experience.

BTW, the audio you uploaded Hugo, sounds louder than my noise in possition #3.

NO se que paso. Magicamente el boton para actualizar el driver (que siempre estaba "disable") aparecio activo. Asi que despues de actualizar el driver me reconocio altiro el X3.

Hola,

Tengo un iMAc OS X 10.6.8. desde que lo tengo y tengo mi POD X3 live me ha funcionado todo bien (monkey, actualizaciones, garageband, GearBox, etc). Hoy, despues de actulizar el monkey al 1.59 y conectar el X3 me manda un error de conexion, pero aun asi me reconoce el USB Firmware. En todos las otras aplicaciones funciona (GearBox, GB, etc), asi que no es problema del cable USB (ademas que he probado con varios). Cual puede ser el problema? la POD X3 funciona perfectamente, pero me gustaria actualizar el driver y Flash Memory.

Ahora traté con el Gear Box como lo sugeriste y no pasa nada. Me dice "unrecognized file type". He bajado varios tonos de customtones y algunos carga y otros no. El que envió ElMontu es uno de los que no me cargan. El archivo atachado es uno de los tantos que no me carga.

Hey ElMontu, Cuando trato de cargar tu preset (CustomTone) a través del Monkey en mi pedalera me manda un error "IVALID TONE SPECIFIED" y no lo puedo cargar. Esto me ha pasado con otros customtones. Sabes cuál es el problema?, probé cambiandole el nombre al tono, porque eran muy largos algunos y pensé que ese sería el problema, pero igual no lo carga.

Bajé el software Version 4.2.3 Released 7/10/09 Line 6 Audio-MIDI Driver, lo instalé y se acabaron los problemas. My Monkey is to update y mi xPod también y es reconocida por mi iMac

El puerto MIDI de la pedalera no es para conectar externos como keyboards u otros midis. Sólo es para conectar un controlador (key midi controler) y manejar desde ahí las funciones de la pedalera.

Bueno, anyways, mi consulta es: Mi iMac no reconoce mi pod x3 live. Bajé la última actualización de Monkey y no pasa nada. (En mi equipo con windows vista y XP trabaja sin problemas). Es el USB el problema o el pod en sí?

So, What is the solution to this problem?

I have my pod x3 live recognized with my windows vista, but in my iMac it doesn't work.

I have other devices connected through USB port (M-Audio Key rig 25 and Alesis Multimix) to my iMac and they work perfectly.

Any help?
