This bug had been announced as fixed i the podHD500 v2 firmware. However, it is still NOT FIXED in PodHD300 v2 firmware!

I was very happy to get the amazing free HD300 v2 firmware and I thank line6 for this great work. I can understand, too, that this little bug is not a priority for line6 teams. But after so much time that it has been reported and having waited so long for the announced podHD300 v2, this oversight is quite... surprising.

Fixed in firmware 2?

I am glad to see (and grateful to line6 staff) that, according to what is announced, this above mentioned bug seems to have been fixed in the firmware 2.

However, the satisfaction to see that line 6 takes into account his customer's remarks is a bit diluted by the strange feeling to be considered, as a medium budget podHD-only-300 owner, a kind of second zone client.

Last update only applied to pod HD bean, pro and 500. And after waiting for more than 2 months a "soon available" v2 update, we, little pod HD 300/400 owners, are still waiting. Indeed, the finally downloadable update was, once more, only for top-segment hardware. Consequently, the "soon available" remains a "soon available".

Let’s be fair: free update; new extensions and bass amp and mic preamp modeling! Fantastic and generous! A wonderful relation between passionate developers and passionate clients. But why do you waste that great feeling with such an unfair commercial hierarchy between your customers?

ADSR filter with level and time tweakable parameters for each ADSR segment is another wish.

Pod HD 300

Powering on while pressing the TAP switch initiates a TEST mode which seems quite interesting: various test informations are available on the pod screen, rotating the PRESET button.

I just discoverd that while trying to restore the footswitch leds which did not work anymore.

Finally, a factory reset did it.

Anyway, this test mode could interest some of you.

The electronic bow can give tones and plays quite close to harmonica. Combined with the saturations, reverbs and delays of the podHD, this can give interesting results...

This bug affecting pitch glide decimal values between -1 and 0 has, unfortunately, not been fixed in firmware 1.31...

This little bug has not been fixed in 1.31 firmware...

Possible "reverse delay" FX bug for low "time" parameter values.

Reverse delay effect lets hear wrong shifted frequencies when "time" parameter is set to low values, from 20ms to about 250ms.

The frecuency heard is about 9 half tones under the played note at 20ms, and gradually lowers when time parameter value is increased.

Obviously, this can be more clearly heard for a 100% Mix value, where the played note is heard toughtly shifted.

The result is a kind of unwanted ring modulator unusable sound.

Can any line6 staff member confirm that this is not only a behavior related to my own PodHD?

Is that a one more bug of podHD software?...

PS: In other respects, bugs reported (and confirmed by line 6) have not been fixed from 1.2 to 1.3 firmware.

Thank you very much for your very interesting comments. I am new in this crazy "FX planet", which seems full of passionnate people. I am coming more from classical guitar (as an aficionado) and experimenting and discovering all this fascinating world.

I posted a violin and a baroque cello tones in CustomTone (essentially using the volume swell) but with french names, so look for:

"violon" and "viole de gambe" (or for my name).

And once more: try the ebow...
