Recording Vocals

Hey, I've got Riffworks Standard and am using Amplitube 3 for my guitar tones. However I'm struggling to get a decent sound for recording vocals. Either sounds like I'm recording in the bathroom or inside a shoe box. Haven't been able to get any crystal clear vocals.

What do you when recording vocals to get the best sound?

Any tips on how to get the best sounds from riffworks would be much appreciated!

Register Downloaded Riffworks

I downloaded the free version of Rifftracker a few months ago from here - http://www.sonomawireworks.com/T4/

Though its the free limited version it worked fine for a while, now when I try to record it tells me I need to register and until I do, whenever I push record theres horrible white noise making whatever I play unusable.

Following the link the registration form sends me to, takes me to IK multimedia but won't allow me to register. I emailed them and was told that I need to register the Amplitube software with Line 6... How do I go about that? Can I register it anyway since I downloaded it for free? And why would it send me to IK Multimedia if I don't have to register with them?

Any help would be much appreciated

Awesome! Thank you very much... I downloaded the free version but will probably upgrade in the future. Its good to finally get back recording again!

I bought my copy of Riffworks (Rifftracker) a few years ago and had it installed on my PC. Since then, I have bought a laptop and no longer use the PC, however I have lost the installation disk but still have the guitar port equipment necessary to connect to a computer. I created my account at the time of installation or shortly after however it seems I haven't registered my software. Is there a way I can install the programme on my laptop without purchasing the software again?
