To make the Wah's sound more realistic, turn down the mix to 46 to 55%. What a difference it'll make for you!

Nick was always there to help me with whatever I was having problems with, wither it was XTlive, X3live or my HD500 he would try and try to help me. I will really miss him. This Forum will never be the same...... Rest in peace my friend.....

Hi Gents

I have been using a monster 2 into 1 XLR out of the 500 and into the PA board for a few months now without any problems at all. I've read the anti "Y" users posts and have to say they have NO merit in my case. I've used "Y" cables in many different situations for many years without problems.

I forgot to mention I'm using a HD500. I used a real 80's JCM 800 in the 80's and 90's before I got in to using Prosessors and just can't seem to find that sound yet. I'm sure its there just got hit the right button! you guys are pointing me in the right direction though. My clean tones and my old rock tones are great with the HD500.

This may sound dumb but I had a really nice 80's solo kinda tone from my X3Live that I just can't seem to find on the HD500.

I'll try some of your suggestion guys! I really do like my HD500 and know what I'm looking for is there!

I'm runining to 1 channel of the PA board so anything I do has to be in mono. If it helps, I'm looking for a Journey kind of solo sound.
