      <description>&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyStart:5995b2c2-e79b-4809-b032-51d8fdb6e67e] --&gt;&lt;div class="jive-rendered-content"&gt;&lt;p&gt;Just wondering if anyone else has had the following issue:&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Equipment:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;JTV 59 (v1.8) plugged into POD HD 500 (v2.0) via variax digital cable.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Issue:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Alternate tuning knob on JTV set for "1/2 Down.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Go into tuning mode on HD 500.&amp;#160; Display shows I am 1/2 down but when I come out of tuning mode, the JTV reverts to Standard tuning and I have to rotate my alt tuning knob off of "1/2 Down" and back again to be 1/2 down.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I've re-installed my JTV update but, haven't done the HD 500 yet.&amp;#160; Do you think it is an issue with the 500 or the JTV update?&amp;#160; I've had another issue with the JTV but I'll address that in another discussion.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;EDIT:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I forgot to add that when I program a patch in the 500 to force the JTV into an alternate tuning and switch from that patch to another, the JTV again reverts to standard tuning.&amp;#160; Is this normal for everyone?&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Thanks for any replies!&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Mike&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyEnd:5995b2c2-e79b-4809-b032-51d8fdb6e67e] --&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyStart:134ee477-98a2-4ece-9037-21d1ed3b828c] --&gt;&lt;div class="jive-rendered-content"&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: 12pt;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;JTV Model Received:&amp;#160; &lt;/strong&gt;59 Tobacco SB (Korean)&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: 12pt;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Order Date:&amp;#160; &lt;/strong&gt;December 16, 2010&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: 12pt;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Received Date:&amp;#160; &lt;/strong&gt;August 12, 2011&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: 12pt;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;City/Country:&amp;#160; &lt;/strong&gt;Cypress, Tx / US&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: 12pt;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Retailer:&amp;#160; &lt;/strong&gt;Sweetwater&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: 10pt;"&gt;I am not good at writing reviews but I will at least say that the guitar is very nice.&amp;#160; I have experienced only one minor glitch so far and this was in the first hour or two of playing.&amp;#160; The model knob must have gotten stuck between the pickups and modeling selection and was causing the guitar to freak out.&amp;#160; After playing with all the knobs (because I didn't know at the time what the cause was) it stopped and has been fine ever since.&amp;#160; I received the guitar last Friday and played a gig with it the next night.&amp;#160; I did not use any other guitars that night and had no problems whatsoever and I, and my bandmates, thought it sounded excellent.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: 10pt;"&gt;The fit and finish is excellent as well.&amp;#160; The neck feels virtually identical to my Gibson LP Standard with the rounded '59 profile.&amp;#160; I did have to adjust the intonation and lower string height just a tad.&amp;#160; One minor gripe is that after playing for only a short time, my fingers turned black!&amp;#160; I put new strings on and still my fingers turned black.&amp;#160; Must have been something on the fingerboard.&amp;#160; It has almost cleared up now but, wow, that was weird.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: 10pt;"&gt;I was able to use the alt tunings and could play songs without a capo while the other guitarist still had to use his!&amp;#160; He got a good laugh when he looked over and saw I wasn't capo'd.&amp;#160; I agree with another poster that with the acoustic models, you still get the warbling sound if you virtual capo up more than 2 frets.&amp;#160; Even at 2 frets it still has a slight warbling quality to the sound.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: 10pt;"&gt;That's my two cents.&amp;#160; I plan to make this my main axe and take only it to gigs.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div class="mcePaste" id="_mcePaste" style="position: absolute; top: 0px; left: 0px;"&gt;﻿&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyEnd:134ee477-98a2-4ece-9037-21d1ed3b828c] --&gt;</description>
