Latest Driver Update and HD Edit Issue

So I decided to update to the latest driver, and flash memory on my Pod Bean. All went fairly well and after completing the update, I decided to re-load some custom patches using HD Edit. After saving 12 presets, I realized that instead of storing them under user locations, they were over writing Best of Pod HD presets-dah so I tried to back out of HD edit thinking I could re-flash and get everything back to normal. That's when the Pod locked up at the Line 6 welcome screen and wouldn't do anything.

Powered the Pod off and on multiple times, nothing. So I tried re-downloading the latest drivers, but when it came time to send them to the pod, the pod would not accept them and not run "new hardware found." Tried for hours, everything I could think of. Went into device manager and tried to re-load driver. No luck, but loaded pod software into computer as new hardware and pod showed up as CODE 10 error unit will not self start. I seen mention of code 10 in the forum, but no one offered a fix or seemed to understand it.

Now the first time I upgraded the drivers in my pod I had the same issue show up, (Code 10) but couldn't remember how I finally fixed it, still can't, but after trying everything I could think of and scowering the website for any help, I finally decided to try the global reset (holding left arrow and powering up). Presto - Pod woke up, showed a preset available, and computer showed new hardware found. YEAH!

I reloaded the latest drivers again, although they did show on the pod under system. I re-freshed the flash and got back the best of presets and then re-loaded the custom presets in the correct place. WIZ BANG back in business. So anyone getting a code 10 error won't self start, try a global reset.

And yes I wrote it down in my Pod manual for the next upgrade! Hope this helps someone else.
