Line 6 M13 + other pedals or programable switcher + other pedals? OR BOTH?

Hi, I have a doubt on my setup, maybe someone can help.

I use a Line 6 M13 and other pedals:
Tuner>Vibe>Compressor>M13 >M13loop(Fuzz>POG2>Dly)>AMP

I use some presets on the M13 which activates 3 pedals on the loop+other pedals before the M13.

I could also setup those FXs without The M13, but I will have to add a some pedals, and a cheap programmable pedal switcher like the PXL8 or Vittos.

I turn ON the combination of pedals at the beggining of the song. then I I go between that FX and a clean switch with the Loop OFF on the M13.
I do that for all my songs.

The questions are:
Is it worth to get a programmable pedal switcher to replace the M13...

Is it worth to get a programmable pedal switcher to work with the M13, both together?

In this scenario, would you put the M13 in one of the 8 loops?

Or would you place the switcher inside the M13 loop so you can acces those presets Inside the M13 switches?

This is confusing.
ADVANTAGES of keeping the M13 is the amount of fxs to play with, but honestly, I use a few of them: delays, whammy, synth string filter (I already have a POG2 to do this as well), reverbs.
Also saving bucks, because If I decide to take it out, I will have to get a multi reverb pedal, a digital multi-delay pedal, a used whammy and lots of patch cables. If I sell the M13, all that money and maybe more will be destinated to fullfill these Fxs needs.

The advantage of taking out the M13 is space and weight on my pedalboard....

In that case, the correct way is that M13 will control the patchmate?
Can I add to my current M13 presets a combition of external pedal presets and amp channel switching through the patchmate?

Right now I am activating a combination of 3 pedals through the M13 FX loop (POG/FUZZ or analoge DELAY), depending of my song FXs requirement.)

I turn them ON/OFF before I start a song.

So it would be like extending my FX loop capabilities to 8?

M13 can recall any of patchmate 8 presets?, on each of my M13 12 footswith presets in latchmode?

I was thinking on getting a Rocktron patchmate Loop 8, as it has midi and 8 loops, it says it can control amp switching too which is awesome...

IF patchmate controlling M13, can I just press a footswitch, and it can turn any of my 12 presets that I use in latchmode + other pedals + AMP channels via footswitch cable???

If this piece of gear can do that, it can be very useful. But...

Should M13 control PAtchmate or Patchmate control M13?

my set up is M13 + 8 analogue pedals and MEsa ElectraDyne and/or Orange DualTerror.

I think in the same way, maybe they got what they expected as a product, m13 has not price dropped yet, which is weird for a digital multiFX unit, that is a sign of a sucessful product.

If they come out with a new M-device I will jump in for sure!, hope they can add a FXloop1, Fxloop 2, and Fxloop 3, also will be nice amp switching capabilities.

What will be very usefull though for a firmware upgrade would be if they make the Left and Right SEND and RETURN independent, so that you can set LeftFXloop for one preset and RightFXloop for other, (different chains) so basically you have 2 FXloops, that will be useful for me.
But they are taking so long...
I was already thinking on getting a MOEN unit to control better my external pedals.

Would eb nice, pitch-step secuencer? Boss delay HOLD DD3 feature?

Solved this way and it sounded great!

GTR>tunner>Compressor>OD>m13(FX1)>M13 FXLoop (FUZZ>POG2)>M13 (FX2,3,4)>MemoryMan> AMP

In this way I will use my OD/Distortion to push the amp, and when M13 loop footswitch active it will turn on my fuzz and pog.

Thanks, Thats what I susppected...amp gizmo is too expensive for just amp switching feature, what about a moen?

This can switch amps, but how can this interact with the M13?

The M13 need to be inside one of moen loops or out?

Will this work? I see it has no midi out...

looks like the amp switching is via regular 1/4 cable though...

I am not going to use the 4CM, I want to know if M13 should be before or after my dirt pedal in an amp with no FXloop with a nice crunch channel?

I see a lot of people put it first, but from my point of view if I put it first, dealys will go before my external dirt pedals.

But I still see a lotsssss of people putting the M13 first... the guitar>M13>pedals...

Hi can this work with a Mesa EletraDyne? it has a regular footswitch 1/4 plug...
I ise my m13 in latchmode and 4CM.

Can this help to convert midi cable from M13 Midi Out to 1/4 plug:
