Why? The schematics should be free to download.

I can get a schematic for my car's electronics but not for my amp.

Sounds like a cheap excuse to me.

BTW an internet search & I was able to find a schematic for the Spider 15w online.

One further note... a critique actually. Why doesn't line 6 make this selector knob with set stops for each position. It would make dialing in the selection much more precise and possible alleviate the pot going bad problem or at least extend the life of the pot?

Thanks for the reply and the link Kneehow. It's been over a year and I am handy with electronics, so I'll try order the replacement pot and installing myself. I'll let you know how it works out.

My Spider jam amp 'model' selector knob jumps settings every now and then. Normally at the most inopportune time. It doesn't have a click stop for each setting. Is there a defect in this knob? If so, can I get a replacement pot?
