I have had a problem with my pedal cutting out at times with both the wah and volume when I rock the pedal back and forth. Some kind of short or potentiometer problem?

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. The amp is not getting hot at all. Usually it is quite dry here, but the last week has been very humid, so that could explain why I'm noticing it more. Thanks!

Spider IV odor

My Spider IV 75 gives off this slight sour type of odor from the back electronics compartment even after about 6 weeks of use. Is this normal? Had one day when the volume was very low but do not know if that may fave been the FBV MKII. That has been fine since. Just wonering if something is going on with the smell and all.

Re: I have just recently purchased a Spider IV 75 amp and I saw Whole Lotta Love advertised as one of the song presets. I haven't found it, and I looked in the 60's-80's and it isnt there. Can someone help?

Can anyone tell me if the firmware updates change the modeling presets? And can you revert back if so?

Yeah. The guy that does the Line 6 video on the line 6 site for Spider iv says it's in there too. What's up with that?

OK, got it loaded up, registered and communicating and calibrated for the amp. Trying to figure out now if the computer part of this can be used to load any specifics into the amp. My guess is that the usb/computer part of this pedal is only useful if you have a pod or some other device, or if you are going to record into your computer perhaps? Any advice is much appreciated.

I use a Dunlop cry baby pedal now, so would that mean that the mkII would work as well?

I have a Spider III 120 watts. Does this have the wah effect parameter?
