Hey, do we only get 4 user set lists in the HD500 Edit view ... I want to see ALL my Set Lists so that I can mix n match ... so far, HD500 Edit sux, u can't even move blocks of presets with a Set ... am I missing something?

- as for my question, when I hold and drag it hangs within about 8 spaces, it take a ridiculous amount of time to move things around!

But the 500 only has only has ONE FX send, a TRS stereo /// so. using your method, how do you maintain a stereo signal (a TRS 1/4 Y cable that splits to Left mono and Right mono??)

Hi,

Old school newb here ... I have the Pod500 (XLR outs left and right, straight into the FOH mixer, tow different channels panned hard left and hard right) and sometimes when I'm playing a lead and the band really starts hammering away, I just want a volume boost of whatever tone I'm on. So I got an MXR Boost/Line Driver pedal and here's my problem I'm hoping someone can help with ...

- clean tones ... I can put the boost pedal either before or after the Pod500 and get a great volume boost

- dirty tones (the ones I really want/need to boost waaay more often) ... it doesn't matter where I put the pedal, I can't get any volume boost with dirty tones!

- so, I've resorted to using one of the Pod's Mono Outs into a centre panned channel on the mixer board, and then I can get a great volume boost but the tone/fx are compromised because now there's always a tone coming right up the middle, and when I boost the volume by stomping the pedal, I only get a mono boost (but I do get a great boost) Do I need a stereo boost pedal or ...

Question ... what is the best way to get a dirty volume boost with the Pod500 and not change the tone??

Which one do I choose for Input 2 Source??

Variax Channel 1 or Variax Channel 2 or Guitar + Variax Channel 1 or Guitar + Aux + Vaiax Channel 1 ... those ar the 4 choices i have in the Edit software

Hi,newb here ... are there model packs for the HD500 ... i don't see them listed ... looking for spacey, clean sounds and spacey but heavy lead sounds; and I've now been through the 270 or so pages of tones on the CustomTone pages.

Volume Control of presets

Hi, HD500 newb here ... there seems to be so much difference in volume (some of it almost dangerous when you're auditioning tones and one pops up that is super-loud on the headphones ... is there a way to set a global volume of all presets? Sometimes I get a preset I like, but there is hardly any volume, even though the amp model is set at 100 % ... is this when I set the mixer volume? Anyway, if I turn the master up on the Pod then the next one might be way to loud. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can best get volume levels under control ( an on-board DB meter would have been nice, or even one in the Edit software which would have been easy to do!) An improvement me and others would like to see concerns the Edit software AUDITION tones improvement ... add a setlist feature that accepts 200 drag/drops all at once, loads into slots and allows the user to AUDITION those tones hands-free using guitar and the HD500s foot switches/preset switches, sequentially scrolling through ... when I find a tone I like, then I stop the AUDITION to select/cherry pick the tone and add to another FAVOURITES set list ... thanks, Karma
