Re: pod hd 300 flash update failed

I tried to install this upgrate with three separate computers without success. I tried the download of the file to one of the computers then attempted to install from that, and still no success. I did learn that if you uninstall all of the line 6 stuff, you can at least re-establish the connection between the computer and the POD. I'll see if one of the other computers will work, but even if it does it appears that there must be some problem with the design of the Line 6 software. There's just too many people reporting failures.

Why would you connect to a PA?

Having asked the above Your options are to 1-connect the line out to the line in on the board. You will lose the ability to use the amp as a monitor.

2-Mike the amp. most people do this 3- Use a direct box this will split your guitar signal you can send a signal to the PA and also to your amp.

       good luck have fun

          Larry

Unfortunately, I'm somewhat techno illiterate. Thus even to navigate back here is challenging for me (I forget what I've done to get here in the first place). Anyway, as I understand what you have said, when I put Output selector switch in the studio mode, I should disregard the display? Then since the display is rendered useless, I should simply just go with my ear to guide me? Well thanks again.

Larry
