Re: Propellerhead Reason + Record Duo & Line 6 KB37 Setup Question

Hi there,

Not sure if you are on Mac or PC, but you actually would need to open the Line 6 Audio-MIDI Devices application to activate the line inputs-- that's where you activate inputs. It's in your Programs list in Windows, and at the bottom of the System Preferences on Mac.

Regarding the distortion: Even with pretty hot passive electric pickups, I don't have any distortion problems with the KB37 instrument input. If you have active electronics (battery powered) on your acoustic, it might have a much higher output, and if that is the problem, I would just dial back the volume on the guitar itself.

If you are having audio problems in general (especially on a Windows computer), you may want to try turning off the wireless card. However, if this is a simple matter of the guitar's output being too hot for the KB37 input, then the wireless card would make no difference.

I hope this helps.
