Well I ordered a DT50 head!

I'll feedback in time.

With shopping around online, the cashback and loyalty points I paid £819 which I think is a good price.

Can't wait to explore all the options now. I'm interested to hear it on its own and with my TS9 plugged in. It sounds great in the videos.

I'm aware about switching my hd500 presets to the preamp models and the steep learning curve but it is all very exciting to me.

I think I'm going to get a DT50 head as its the safer bet for what i want to do which is gigging.

I'm not interested in playing at home with it since I DI my HD500 straight into my pc.

I'll let you know when i get it (this year since they have £100 discount in the UK).

So basically POD owners can push the DT25 a little harder?

As I said, it is rock/metal that i primarily play. On the POD i use twin heads (ENGL/TREAD) so its pretty heavy i guess (think 80's metal/glam).

Do you think the 4x12 will help the volume at all?

Hi Folks,

I've been searching the net but no success.

I've got a HD500 already was looking to get a DT25/50 soon.

Lots of people have DT25's it seems but no one talks about the top end volume of them.

I'm looking to gig with it in a rock band, but dont want to commit to an amp too quiet.

I like the idea of low power mode for home use as well.

I've got a spider valve HD100 mk2 which is insanely loud and normally dont get the master turned up very far.

If the DT25 is too quiet I guess I'll have to save for the DT50 head.

P.S It'll be running through a 4x12 with vintage 30's in
