Hi Hugo, Thanks for responding. I can tell you that you are bang on the problem ....thats exactly the thing thats happening. I am able to use the pedal in the normal way ...but i hear this sound while activating the pedal. Is this problem an issue with the pedal screw?? ... I have read on the forum that some folks had the same problem with it and they broke the screw.. ....so was more worried ...that am i heading the same way???

I understand when you say that it is the nature of the hardware ....but do you think it will give me problems in the future?

Guys need to help in nailing Van Halen Poundcake Tone!!!!

I need to understand ....which amp sim to be used? .... i updated the HD 500 with flash 1.20, where ENGL Fireball sounded good as the Poundcake tone ....but the other models where not sounding good enough with the update .....so had to rollback to flash 1.10 ....where atleast the Uber and Recto are sounding good. Now with the rollback ...the ENGL is sounding too thin and harsh.

Can anyone help me with a good Poundcake tone????

I am using a LANEY LV300 Head (Half Stack) and prefer the HD 500 in the 4CM mode (So that my amp does not color the HD Sound)

Hi Guys, Just bought POD HD 500 a month back, pretty happy with it, but would like to ask everyone, that if everyone else is also hearing double clicks while activating the expression pedal. For E.g: while on a patch when i want to activate the Wah ... i press the expression pedal switch with my foot, but i hear 2 clicks ..one from the expression switch .....and the other click that i hear is some where from the expression pedal which is pretty loud. I guess it has something to do with my screw or something else, iam pretty sure its the hardware thats making it. Can someone from line6 please tell what needs to be done to rectify it.
