Yes, you're right - I misread the OP. I thought he'd bought it on his account, but it's only the Bass pack he bought and returned.

Deusex_rapax, Zap is right, if you bought this second-hand and the owner didn't 'gift' the Metal Shop from his account to yours then you never actually owned it as such. Odd that you got the Bass pack though.

Still in any event worth contacting Line 6 on the link I gave above and see what they can do.

Just run Monkey and it will show you the latest and if you highlight it you can update it from there, no need to hunt round the interwebz.

Well with not much info to go on, I might suggest that your Noise Gate is kicking too early. Use Line 6 Edit and try adjusting the Threshold and Decay parameters to be less sensitive, or turn it off completely.

No LED. There should be a small metal dome that acts as the selector's selection point. It must have popped out of your one.

1. I'm not quite sure I understand what you are after. If you open the tones in GearBox then you can see the knob positions etc., but then you already have the tone anyway so don't need to enter it manually. What difficulty are you having exactly?

2. All I can say is my Variax300 updated fine. I would definitely do it, just make sure to follow all procedures advised, like powering the Variax from the XPS (or PODXT) rather than use batteries, that sort of thing:

You should resave the presets with the volumes matched using channel volume.

No, sorry. This is not possible with this model.

You could use a DI box to split the signal before you feed the input to the Pod though.

You probably have to be signed in but you don't need to be registered. Do those direct links I provided not work either? They only work when I'm signed in btw.

That URL you gave looks a bit odd to me. Who is your internet provider?

I can't help as I've never had mine apart, but you should get that screw out from inside as it may short a circuit.
