overdub has stopped working

Just ran the firmware update on my HD500 and have run into a bug.

If I go into looper mode, hit fs5 then fs6, what I just recorded will play correctly, hit fs5 again, first piece still playing, but overdub doesn't start.

If I hit fs5 then fs5 again, same thing, first piece plays, overdub doens't start.

I basically can only get 1 thing to record at a time. All other functions work properly though, I can reverse, 1/2 speed, pre/post, and 1 play.

I just cannot overdub.

Any ideas?

(going to roll back firmware and see if it goes away of course)(rollback didn't fix it, so I'm back on 2.1 again)

Pretty sure Lincoln is just using an HD500.

I am no "pro" but I am using an HD Pro is this way:

Guitar>G50>Pedalboard>HD Pro+FBV longboard (for looping and the 2 expression pedals)>direct stereo to FOH>back to me via IEM

The memory on the HD series isn't great so I just use the HD Pro to run 2 different amp models blended in various ways for different songs (mostly the same 2 amps though for consistency).

I have both amps in their own signal path with an eq after each amp.

HD Pro Master Volume

Did a quick search and can't find this asked so here goes!

I've gotten very used to using the master volume options on my x3 live (xlr out to house is fixed, master volume knob only affects my stage volume / 1/4 outs)

Is there no way to change the bahavior of the master volume on the HD Pro?

Seems like this should be a no-brainer considering both live or in the studio it's rare 2 items would need the same output signal level.

(ok after posting, the related articles on the side showed someone addressing this question for the hd 500. For those who couldn't find it either, the answer is no sadly.)

My 2c is the master volume is useless as it stands. I have to tape / mark the spot where the master volume clips most mixer inputs so I don't go past that and just had to get a volume in the chain after the HD Pro and before the speaker cab.

Please fix this Line 6. Thanks for reading.
