Hi, I'm trying to run my POD GX through garageband with in iMac. My question is, how do I get the sound to play through the iMac speakers? I can get sound through the headphones plugged into the back of the GX. I've tried plugging a cable from the GX output to the Line in connection on the iMac but no sound.

Am I missing something obvious?

Hi, was wondering if it was possible to record without any backing song or drums. I can't seem to find an option to just play guitar loops.

I guess there's no reason why I couldn't use the POD Farm then connect the audio output from my Pod Studio GX (USB interface) into the cd/aux input and control the amp that way?

Thanks for the reply. I Like the idea of dialing in the settings fir a particular song, but not really necessary I guess. Best I head down to the store loaded with a few questions & try a few out. Cheers

Hey there, was considering purchasing the above mentioned amp. Was wondering with all the presets if it was possible to just select a clean channel and choose the sound fx etc via my laptop running Pod Farm 2?

Different question but along the same line...

Could I connect a Multi Effects unit, the Boss ME-70 for example?
